• Boudhanath also called Boudha is a stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal. Boudha stupa is semicircle shaped and contains the relics and remains of Buddha. The stupa’s massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. The Lord Buddha was born in 623 BC in the sacred area of Lumbini located in the Terai plains of southern Nepal, testified by the inscription on the pillar erected by the Mauryan Emperor Asoka in 249 BC.

• Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. The Tibetan name for the site means ‘Sublime Trees’, for the many varieties of trees found on the hill.
  Swayambhunath itself translates to self existence hinting at the site’s legendary origins and its lasting importance as a sacred pilgrimage destination for both Buddhists and Hindus. It has stood as a hallmark of faith and harmony for centuries, with Hindu temples and deities incorporated into this Buddhist site.

• Patan Durbar Square is situated at the centre of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
  Patan Durbar square is the famous visiting place. The square is full of ancient places, temples, and shrines noted for their exquisite carvings. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan’s religious and social life and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects.

Chitwan National Park: 
It is roughly five hours by road from Kathmandu or a 35 minute flight situated in the Terai region. It is renowned for its collection of birds with over 255 species recorded. There are many species of parakeets. Other birds include Blue-Throat (thrush), Long-tailed Nightjar, and Indian Peafowl, Great Barbet, red-billed blue magpie and Tickell’s red-breasted blue flycatcher. The best way to harness maximum enjoyment out of this experience is to stay two-three nights in the lodge inside the park and combining bird-watching with other activities.

Bardia National park:
Bardia is also a popular destination for bird watching situated in the far West of Nepal it is an area of far-reaching jungle which is covered by sal forest riverine and grass lands. A boat ride on the slow moving expanse of the Karnali River provides plenty of opportunities to view a infinite variety of birds including Ruddy Shelduck, darters, brahmini kites, brown headed gulls, cormorants, oriental pied horn bills, night heron & purple heron, cinnaon bitterns, orioles and majestic peacocks.
