– Bonjour Jhalak Our trekking in Manaslu Round We were 3 Swiss people who went to a Nepal-Trekking in November 2011. It was a very nice way into the buri gandaki-valley from Arugat to the Larkya-La to Besisahar. We went with Jhalak Tamang, who was our guide, and with 2 nice porters Romez and Suman. We walked on very pleasant speed, sometimes he let us go of our own first and we were very glad to walk our self. Every time we slept at a lodge in a little village. That was very good agreement, so we could sit in the kitchen (at the fire = warm!!) and talk and ask to the Nepali-people and look how they do cooking. Jhalak also played the flute very nice and he learned us a Nepali song, called: Ressam firirii Ressam firirii !! We needed 14 days for this tour ?- ?with 3 days in Bimtang – because we were e little bit tired and liked to enjoy the place, the wonderful view, the quiet, washing hair and clothes. With the height we had no problems, because we took enough time for walking, one stop at samagaun 1 day. When you arrived (or come back from Trekking) at Kathmandu, it’s better to go for sleeping to Baktapur, because this part of town is a little bit cleaner than Kathmandu himself (very dirty, loud and lot of smog). So we are happy and contented with our trip and can recommend Jhalak Tamang as guide. He is experience professional guide. Beatrice and Stephan from Switzerland. Cordialement.Langtang trek – October 2010
