Day 01: – Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel, and welcome drinks.
After landing at the Tribhuwan International Airport, we will be greeted by a representative Ice Cap Adventure then you will be transfer to hotel. We then check-in at the hotel, freshen up and take a rest. After resting for a while, there will be a pre-trip discussion for the last minute preparation before the tour. In the evening a welcome dinner will be hosted by Ice Cap Adventure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: – Kathmandu Sightseeing and Preparation for trek
After breakfast, our guide will take you to different attractions of Kathmandu Valley such as Bauddhanath and Pashupatinath temple. The Boudhanath is one of the largest stupa in the world. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most important places of pilgrimage for all Hindus. After finishing the sightseeing briefing about trekking and tours, as well as an introduction with your trekking guide. While you are finished briefing, continue to check your trekking equipment with a guide.
Day 03: – Kathmandu – Flight to Pokhara (820m).
After breakfast in the morning, take a flight to Pokhara (30) minutes. The Kathmandu to Pokhara route offers passengers breathtaking views of Nepal’s diverse topography. Window seats become coveted spots as the flight cruises over lush hills, terraced fields, and the majestic Annapurna mountain range. Pokhara city
tours at World Peace stupa, Pumdikot, david falls and International Museam after settling the hotel and room in Pokhara.
Day 04: – Pokhara Drive to Nayapul and Trek to hille (5/6h) 2055m.
After breakfast at the hotel, the group will drive to Nayapul (2 / 3 hour) From the Nayapul it takes 5/6 hours to reach hille. The terraced fields, traditional houses, and panoramic vistas make this a memorable section of the trek. At an elevation of around 2,055 meters (6,791 feet), hille marks the end of your trek for the day. You can find tea houses and lodges here to relax, eat, and spend the night.
Day 05: – Hile – Ghorepani (4/5h) 2860m.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will start to walk 1 hour to reach Ulleri village from Hile. So, on towards the steep climb to Ulleri, a large Magar village at an altitude of 2,070m. The trail ascends more gently from this point, through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti at a 2,250m Lunch break and then after 2hour walk will arrive at Ghorepani (2,840m).
Day 06: – Ghorepani to Poon Hill View Point Hiking – Tadapani (5/6h) 2590m.
In the morning, you will start an hour hiking to Poon Hill view point at an elevation of 3,210m a brilliant mountain range spectacle; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. There you spend about 1 hour for photo sessions, videographing the team and the entire Mt.
Dhaulagiri 1, 2, 3 and Mt. Annapurna 1,2,3,4, Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Manasulu, Mt. Machhapuchhare (Fishtail), Mt. Tukuche, Mt.Lamjung Himal etc. many moremountains will be seen from the top of Poon Hill view point. After enjoying the scenery then returning to Ghorepani to have a hot breakfast at a hotel. Then continue to make a hike along ridges, and through pine trees and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2,960m). After that we descend to the Banthanti, then turn off to Tadapani.
Day 07: – Tadapani – Chhomrong (5/6h) 2170m.
As usual, The hiking will announce for timing of breakfast and lunch, dinner and duration day by day. So today, as well as previous days, breakfast in the morning and will start to hike next day destinations at Chhomrong after breakfast. The day starts with a steep downhill through rhododendron forests. Leaving
Tadapani, The group will descend through the forests and then the trail eases as we reach Gurjung village, which is the village of Gurung people, with an easy walk to Chhomrong at an elevation of 2,140m. If you have still enough time then will walk bit further trek to Sinuwa, It takes 1.5 hours because it will be better and easy for next high hiking day, but it’s depend on your arrival time at Chhumrong and guide will decides with the group leader.
Day 08: – Chhomrong – Bambo (4/5h) 2315m.
As usual, after breakfast the group will continue ascending Bambo. If you stay in Chumron beginning of the day the trail drops down to the Chhomrong Khola (River) cross the beautiful and long suspension bridge and continue climbing to Sinuwa dada 2,380m. There is a clearing in the forest a little further on, from which, the
route travels very steeply down a rock bank then levels out, running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. We walk through bamboo, and stay in.
Day 09: – Bambo – Deurali (3/4h) 3200m.
After breakfast, it just takes four hours walking slowly to Deurali from Bambo. The first part, through the bamboo forest, is damp and much colder than it has been. From here you can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The trail ascends green hills and opens up. Below us lies a glacial river. The trail becomes a little more rugged, and there is a steep climb to Hinku cave and more bamboo forest.
Day 10: – Deurali – (ABC) Annapurna Base Camp (4/5h) 4190m.
Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp is a scenic route that takes 4 to 5 hours of gradual ascend. The distance of the Annapurna Base Camp from Deurali is 7.7 kilometers (4.7 miles). The trail ascends alongside the Modi River as you begin your trek from Deurali. You can see the stack of rocks decorated neatly along the route. Likewise, you can witness a wall of rock and ice en route to Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 11: – Annapurna Base Camp – Bambo (5/6h), 2315m.
Today you will see the mountain very close to you and it is totally surrounded by high mountains, this area is known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. According to guide advice and whether situations, You have to wake up early in the morning for sun rise view on Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchhare (Fishtail) and Mt Gangapurna. After enjoying seeing the mountain and sun rise views then breakfast for continue to down Bambo. We follow the same trail down today the trail dropsby 1,700m to the bank of Modi Khola (River) to Bamboo at 2,345m where there are a few teahouse/lodges available to stay at.
Day 12: – Bambo – Jhinu Dada (5/6h) and drive to Pokhara (2/3h) 820m.
After breakfast, we follow the same trail until Chomrong. Once we have passed Khuldighar there is an experimental sheep farm, the trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields. From Chomrong the trail descends very steeply to the Jhinu hot spring. After lunch our guide will take you to Natural Hot spring for bath and back to hotel for relax and after lunch and cross the long suspension bridge to next side where you can get bus or jeep to drive back to Pokhara through by agricultural land and meet again the same road of begging to drive Hile and at Pokhara.
Day 13: – Pokhara Flight to Kathmandu (30 min) 1350m.
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport and flight back to Kathmandu 30 minutes. After sentiments of room in Kathmandu hotel then you will have lunch and after lunch you will lead by guide to visit Monkey Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square to see Kumari and back to the hotel. will have free time to
shop gifts and souvenirs to your friends and family until evening and in evening will have a special farewell dinner in Thamel.
Day 14: – Departure from Kathmandu to your destination.
Your trekking in Nepal comes to an end today. A representative from Ice Cap Adventures will drop you off at the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Our representative shall assist you with your departure. On your way home you will have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal. When you make such an adventure travel plan to visit Nepal, please bring your one suitcase and trekking day pack inside or as hand luggage used in Kathmandu. You just need casual clothes, such as jeans and a light jacket, if the evening gets cold.
