Day 01 : – Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel, and welcome drinks.
After landing at the Tribhuwan International Airport, You will be greeted by a representative Ice Cap Adventure then you will be transfer to hotel. Then you check-in at the hotel, freshen up and take a rest. After resting for a while, there will be a pre-trip discussion for the last minute preparation before the trek. In the evening a welcome dinner will be hosted by Ice Cap Adventure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02 : – Kathmandu sightseeing and Preparation for Trekking.
After breakfast, our guide will take you to different attraction of Kathmandu Valley such as Baudhanath and Pashupatinath temple. The Boudhanath is one of the largest stupa in the world. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most important places of pilgrimage for all Hindus. After finishing the sightseeing briefing about trekking and tours, as well as an introduction with your trekking guide. While you are finished briefing, continue to check your trekking equipment with a guide.
Day 04 : – Pokhara – Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Hile (4/5h) 1630m.
After exploring the cultural and historical sites of Kathmandu, We take a flight for Pokhara 30 min where visitors can enjoy scenic views . After that we drive to Hile. The trek begins from Hile and takes (2 hour) to reach Ulleri. The village is located in the hilly region of Nepal, offers spectacular views of Mountains, valleys and local traditional style villages with local food.
Day 05 : – Hile – Ghorepani (4/5h) 2860m.
You will embark on a roughly 5 – hour trek from Hile to Ghorepani. From Hile, hike for half an hour or so to reach one of the famous Nepalese suspension bridges. Cross this and then continue to the village of Ulleri. This little Magar settlement has proved to be a fertile recruiting ground for the British Army in recent decades, and a disproportionate number of Ghurka soldiers have come the village. The trek distance is around 10 kilometers and it takes around 4 to 5 hours to reach Ghorepani.
Day 06 : – Ghorepani to Poon Hill View Point Hiking – Tadapani (5/6h) 2590m.
In the morning, you will start an hour hiking to Poon Hill view point at an elevation of 3,210m a brilliant mountain range spectacle ; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. There you spend about 1 hour for photo sessions, videographing the team and the entire Mt. Dhaulagiri 1,2,3 and Mt. Annapurna 1,2,3,4 Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Manasulu, Mt. Machhapuchhare (Fishtail), Mt. Tukuche, Mt. Lamjung Himal etc. many more mountains will be seen from the top of Poon Hill view point. After enjoying the scenery then returning to Ghorepani to have a hot breakfast at a hotel. Then continue to make a hike along ridges, and through pine trees and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2,960m). After that we descend to the Banthanti, then turn off to Tadapani.
Day 07 : – Tadapani – Chhomrong (5/6h) 2170m.
After breakfast in the morning You will start to hike next day destinations at Chhomrong. The day starts with a steep downhill through rhododendron forests. Leaving Tadapani, The group will descend through the forests and then the trail eases as we reach Gurjung village, which is the village of Gurung people, with an easy walk to Chhomrong at an elevation of 2,140m. If you have still enough time then will walk bit further trek to Sinuwa, It takes 1.5 hours because it will be better and easy for next high hiking day, but it’s depend on your arrival time at Chhumrong and guide will decides with the group leader.
Day 08 : – Chhomrong – Bambo (4/5h) 2310m.
The trail out of Chhomrong descends via 2500 stone steps and crosses the Chhomrong Khola on a swaying suspension bridge. It is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Next, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo, Chhomrong is a village in the annapurna area of Nepal and famous night stop over for those going to Annapurna Sanctuary trek. Standing in the village you can enjoy the outstanding scenery of Himalaya, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchre, and Annapurna, especially in the morning when the sun just arise.
Day 09 : – Bamboo – Deurali (3/4h) 3230m.
You pass through the bamboo forest which is damp and cold then ascend steadily with fewer steep sections. It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day and the vertical rock face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls.
Day 10 : – Deurali – Annapurna Base Camp 4130m via MBC (5/6h) 3700m
Climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machhapuchhre base camp we get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna which is pleasing experience.
Day 11 : – Annapurna Base Camp – Bambo (4/5h), 2310m.
From the Annapurna base camp we retrace our steps to Bamboo. Today’s trek is downhill so it shouldn’t be very difficult. Besides, we will always have the company of the extraordinary landscape to cheer us up.
Day 12 : – Bamb0 – Jhinu Dada (5/6h) 1780m and drive to Pokhara (2/3h) 820m.
From Bamboo, it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Then we climb the stone steps to Chhomrong. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, after check in hotel then walk 20 minutes for hot spring bath. After that you drive to Pokhara. It takes (2/3h) to drive from Jhinu Dada to Pokhara.
Day 13 : – Pokhara city tours
Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake. On the eastern shore, the Lakeside district has yoga centers and restaurants.
Day 14 : – Pokhara – Flight to Kathmandu (30/35 min) 1350m.
After breakfast, we will return with the flight to reach Kathmandu taking around 30 m. On the way, you can enjoy the beautiful sceneries. It is a special vacation to spend a quality time with the freshness of natural green environment. On arrival in Kathmandu, you will transfer to the hotel. And then can spend the time leisurely, possibly do some shopping and have dinner together with Trekking Guide.
Day 15 : – Departure from Kathmandu to your destination.
Your trekking in Nepal comes to an end today. A representative from Ice Cap Adventures will drop you off at the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Our representative shall assist you with your departure. On your way home you will have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal. When you make such an adventure travel plan to visit Nepal, please bring your one suitcase and trekking day pack inside or as hand luggage used in Kathmandu. You just need casual clothes, such as jeans and a light jacket, if the evening gets cold.
