Namaste, it give us great pleasure to have Icecap Adventure to be our guide during our trekking activities to Annapurna base camp – they have organized a well planned trekking itinerary starting from our arrival at kathmandu right to our departure 11 days later. Once again I would like this an opportunity to thank Icecap Adventure for not only doing great job in taking good care of all of us but give our group a memorable adventure, Namste to Jhalak and his team members, will contact you Jhalak again for our next adventure trip to Everest base camp.
“I went on the EBC trek expedition in May 2016 with Icecap Adventure, and had an awesome time! As expeditions usually lasts for more than a week, the companions you are going to be stuck with can make or break your trip. I am glad that I went on the expedition with Jhalak and his team, as they watched out for my every step during the entire trek, ensuring that I am safe and enjoying myself throughout. I would definitely sign up for the other expeditions organised by Icecap Adventure in future, if there’s a chance.”

Good day Jhalak,
Namaste! As promised i’m going to write you a feedback for your website.
The EBC trek that took 12 days was a memorable one. Our guides Jhalak and Kawali was definitely a great help to us. They made sure that we were doing fine and guided us very well. They made sure that everyone got to summit and accomplish what we went there for. The accommodations and food provided were great too. We definitely felt like a family. Thank you for the memorable trip.
Regards,
Michelle
Hi Jhalak,
Here’s a first draft of the feedback. It might be amended further.
My recent trip to Everest Base Camp (EBC) and Kala Pattar was very memorable. The scenery was truly picturesque especially above Namche. I fondly remember places like Tengboche. Khumjung and Pangboche . The views of surrounding mountains like Tham Sherku, Pu Mori and others is something very special. Of course the day at EBC and Kala Pattar was the highlight of the trip with breathtaking views of Mt Everest and Mt Lhotse against a backdrop of the breaking dawn and sunrise.
Jhalak is a caring guide who always made sure everyone in the team was safe, well acclimatized and adequately hydrated. He and the other guide (Kavali) led the trek at a slow and measured pace to ensure that everyone paced themselves properly and avoided getting AMS. He also gave clear briefings each evening on the upcoming itinerary for the next day. He also allowed the team flexibility to choose between various options where time and conditions permitted (eg issues on starting time, rest points etc).
Although we faced difficulty flying out of Lukla due to inclement weather after our trek, Jhalak was professional in handling the situation and used all efforts to try to ensure our team got back to Kathmandu in time for our flight home to Singapore. We did get our homeward flights in time with one day to spare in Kathmandu.
Overall, a very memorable trip organised by a very professional guide and his company.

Edward

I did my EBC + Kala Patthar trek with Icecap Adventure trekking company recently and I must say, it was an absolute magical experience. Our porters and guides were very professional and sociable during the entire time spent together (which is great because we ended up being close friends instead of just customers)
Coincidently, on our day to EBC it was also the Everest Marathon and my birthday!
Jhalak and Kawale including the rest of the trekking team came together to plan a birthday surprise and that is something I’d never forget
Thank you Icecap Adventure for taking us up there and back down safely, to JTRACE for bringing the group together and to Jhalak + Kawale, for creating this beautiful memory, forever etched in our hearts

Excellents souvenirs…..inoubliable….Merci encore dear Jhalak Himalayan Mountain Guides. And our best souvenir to Purna, Gyan, Arjun and Saila. I Hope everyone is fine. I miss your beautiful country Nepal. Annapurna circuit. avril 2015.
Dear Jhalak, It was our first time in Nepal and we found this country really amazing. We spend few days in Katmandou, 14 days of trekking on the way to Gokyo and few days in the Tamang village in Mirge – 1, Sanitar Dolkha- Nepal. While we have seen many different places there were a few things that never changed: the smiling kind people, the smell of sental, the beauty of the landscape (so we were happy that now it’s possible to shoot 2000 pictures without pellicle…) Jhalak was really really careful and considerate with us, and we are very grateful for him and for his fantastic team. He has been very well trip organized us. We never forget it and if we plan to travel again in Nepal. We don’t have other way to travel without his unforgettable organize. We go to with him definitely. We spend a wonderful time with wonderful people and we’ll never forget these 3 weeks Thanks for everything Jhalak. Marie and Manu / Gokyo lake trekking.
Cordialement.Langtang trek – October 2010
