Leh – Ladakh is the most popular place of the best trekking routes of the world. This 7 nights and 8 days Markha Valley trekking consist of a moderate trekking route. It is going to give you a chance to put a spotlight on landscapes, monasteries such as Hemis, Thikshay, Shey, the richest and largest monastery of the Ladakh and monks of the region. The journey will be starting from Leh drive to Zingchen and continue to trekking until Rumbak village. while you starting to drive from Leh to Zinchen then you will follow the Indus river for the shorten time. It will finally come to an end with the sightseeing Leh.
You will be amazed by the views of the Indian Himalayas, glaciers, rock cliffs, gorges, powerful rivers and ancient forts and castles. You will walk on high mountain passes (around 17,000ft / 5,000m) decorated with prayer flags and visit the Base Camp of Kang Yatse (6,400m / 21,000ft), the highest mountain in the Zanskar Range in the Indian Himalayas.
Day 01: – Arrival in Leh (3500m) of elevation from seas level and transfer to hotel and welcome drinks with briefings about trekking and tours.
Day 02: – Cultural sightseeing in around such as : Shey Monastery, Thikshay Monastery and Himis Monastery the back to Leh.
Day 03: – Leh – Drive to Chiling (2 hour) 3200m. and across Zanskar river by trolley to trek Skyu (2 / 3h) 3430m.
Day 04: – Skyu – Markha (4 / 5h) 3750m.
Day 05: – Markha – Hankar (3 / 4h) 3540m.
Day 06: – Hankar – Langthang Chen (4 / 5h) 4350m.
Day 07: – Langthang Chen – Yakrupal (4 / 5h) 4800m.
Day 08: – Yakrupal – Tsokra (6 / 7h) via 4200m Zalung Karpo La 5190m.
Day 09: – Tsokra – Day (6 / 7h) 4300m.
Day 10: – Dat – Drive to Leh (3 / 4h) via Yar La Pass 4950m.
Day 11: – Departure from Leh to your destination.
