We will begin our journey with a drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu, which is around 6 to 7 hours long. From here, we will begin our trek across the banks of Langtang Khola. After crossing the beautiful river, we will trek through the beautiful Tamang heritage villages of Gatlang and Tangjet. From there, we will trek northward along the steep ridge before passing through the beautiful rhododendron forest. Another alternative way is to trek from Sundarijal to Helmambu and over the Gosaikunda range to Syabrubesi. Come with us on a memorable expedition to one of the most suitable trekking peaks in Nepal. The beautiful Paldor Peak, standing tall at an elevation of 5,896 m, is situated just northwest of Kathmandu Valley in the beautiful Langtang region. The Langtang region, situated just 30 kilometers northwest of Kathmandu, has some of the most beautiful peaks and massifs in Nepal.
Paldor Peak is one of the most famous trekking peaks in the Ganesh Himal region. It was first ascended by Ian Howell and John Cleare in 1974 AD. The top of the summit can be reached from many directions, such as the northeastern route, the southwestern ridge, and the southeast and western directions. From the top of the summit, we can enjoy a beautiful and panoramic view of the massive Ganesh Himal Massif. Paldor Peak lies at the southeastern end of the Ganesh Himal massif, marking the intersection of Karpu Dandas and Tiru at the top of the Mailung Khola, which is a tributary of Trishuli Khola. From the top of Paldor Peak, we can have a breathtaking panoramic view of Langtang Lirung, the massive Ganesh Himal massif, Dorje Lakpa, Yala, and Gangchempo, and the regal Shishapangma, which stands tall at an altitude of 8,013m. From the crest of the beautiful peak, we can have implausible views of the plentiful glaciers and lakes the region is famous for.
