The Lobuche East and Lobuche West are two beautiful and magnificent peaks in the Khumbu region and standing at the elevation of 6,155m and 6,145m respectively. Lobuche east is a trekking peak but is trekked less in comparison to other trekking peaks in the region like Island Peak because of its difficulty level. The only two peaks in the region difficult to climb than the Lobuche east Peak are Kwangde and Kusumm Kanguru. Despite the difficulty, the ascend to the top of the Lobuche peak is very gratifying because of the panoramic view of the Khumbu region. We will begin our journey from a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. From Lukla, we will begin our trek uphill through the beautiful Sherpa settlements of Dingboche and Tingboche to reach the Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5,375m. The basecamp is one of the most popular destination in the region which is known a Pareshaya Gyab in the Sherpa language. The ascend to the Lobuche East peak will be a truly memorable one as we will me in very close proximity to the Khumbu Glacier and the view of the Khumbu Valley.
