Mt. Cholatse is one of the most technical and challenges adventure peak climbing among the peaks situated in Khumbu region. Cholatse is known as Jobo Lhaptshan in typical local language. The suitable time for climbing on Mt. Cholatse Peak, must be great on September to December and March to May.

The north face was successfull in 1984 and the first pretty ascent was accomplished on 15, April 2005 by Ueli Steck from the north face.

Day 03: – Kathmandu – Flight to Lukla (45m) and walk to Phakding (3 / 4h) 2640m.
Day 04: – Phakding – Namche Bazar (3 / 4h) 3440m.
Day 05: – Khumjung visit and Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar.
Day 06: – Namche – Dole (5 / 6h) 4200m.
Day 07: – Dole – Macherma (4 / 5h) 4470m.
Day 08: – Macherma – Gokyo (3 / 4h) 4790m.
Day 09: – Early in the morning climb to the Gokyo Ri peak (2 / 3h) 5360m. Acclimatization day at Gokyo
Day 10: – Gokyo – Thangnak (2 / 3h) 4700m.
Day 11: – Thangnak – Cholatse Base Camp ( 2 /3h) 5355m.
Day 12 to Day 20-: – Summit duration of Mt. Cholatse Peak (6501m)
Day 21: – Base Camp – Phortse ( 5 / 6h) 4100m.
Day 22: – Phortse – Namche Bazzar (5 /6h) 3440m.
Day 23: – Namche – Pkhading (5 / 6h) 2640m.
Day 24: – Phakding – Lukla (3 / 4h) 2840m.
Day 25: – Lukla – Fligh to kathmandu ( 30 / 35 min) 1350m.
Day 26: – Rest and shopping day
Day 27: – Transfer to airport and departure to your destination.
While you make such a adventure travel plan to visit in Nepal, Please bring your one suitcase or ( DUFFEL BAG ) and trekking day pack inside or as hand luggage use for at Kathmandu. You just need casual clothes such as jeans and a light jacket if the evening time gets cold.
